Meet Mr Yap
— JC Physics Tutor
MOE-Trained
23 years of teaching experience
Mr Yap brings 23 years of experience teaching O-Level, IB and A-Level Physics, alongside experience as an MOE Education Officer and teaching in independent and IB schools. He holds an Engineering degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
Through interactive simulations, practical demonstrations, movie scenes and guided question practice, Mr Yap helps students make sense of challenging Physics concepts. His summary notes support revision, while his engaging approach encourages curiosity and deeper understanding—helping students build a strong foundation for J2.

This programme focuses on Topics 1–7 and the foundations needed for further H2 Physics learning. It is designed for J1 students progressing to J2.
Can students of different abilities join?
The programme supports students who need to close learning gaps as well as those who want to consolidate their foundations. Share your child’s recent results and concerns with us so we can advise on suitability.
